Greg Sinibaldi plays ewi and electronics along with Ted Poor/dr and Ryan Ferriera/g to create moods and images reflecting Sylvia Plath’s book Ariel. The book itself is portrayed by moody keyboards and electronics on pieces such as “Arrival of the Bee Box” with more rocky feel akin to a match between Van Der Graaf Generator and Kraftwerk taking place on “Cut” and “Black Sweet Blood Mouthfuls.” The eight pieces are highly atmospheric, sometimes contemplative and with other moments jarring. More like tone poems than actual songs, the pieces are sonic landscapes that feel like musical drapery flapping from breezes brought inside.
