Justin Young plays tenor, alto and soprano sax on this soulful smooth jazz session His tone on the straight sax is Kenny G clear teaming on the upbeat “Always There” while on tenor he teams up with some synth sounds on the electric “Jazz Along the 101” and title track. He rotates the support with a synth, keyboard guitar and rhythm team including Noel Hall, Alex Al, Ricky Lawson, Dana Davis, Jackiem Joyner, Matt Godina and Mike Aron the exotic excursion of “India” and the synthetic pulsed “Paradise Found.” He plays both soprano and tenor for a nice reed section on the hip R&B juiced “Sweet Release” and closes things up with a gracious “High Definition.” Smooth sailing.
