One of the contributors to the hit film La La Land, trumpeter and composer Ryan Svendsen creates soundtracky soundscapes on this 6 song ep. Acoustic and horn create a cheerful mood on ”Out The Door” and pastoral mists float on “Day Dream.” Folksy and blues mix on “Let’s Meet” and some African percussion mixes with muted trumpet to nice effect on “The Big Chill.” The synthesized sounds on the experimental “The Naked Mind” is the most adventurous tune on this calming collection of sounds waiting for a film.
