Guitarist Lawson Rollins continues his patented mix of flamenco and world music on this charming collection of originals with Dominic Camardella/key, Dave Bryant/dr, Randy Tico/b, Charlie Bisharat/vi, Stephen Duros/drpro and Forrest Marquisee/psg. Lots of upbeat moods dominate the atmosphere with two guitars dancing on the floor during the title track and a dramatic “Split Second.” A mix of blues and Middle East brooding meld on “Time Shift” and mystery is added on “Eternal. Rollins flexes his bop muscles on the funky “ Sway” and his sensuous touch on “Island Time” is a breezy delight. Fragrant and warm sounds here.
