Smooth and upbeat moves are on the menu by saxist Paul Taylor here. He plays alto, tenor and soprano along with an easy rider team of Brain Monroney/g, Dino Esposito/key and some guest vocalists. There’s lots of synthesized drum grooves, with sweet tones on “Arrival” and the funky “What You Love” with a dash of pan pipes meeting Africa with his soprano on “Told Ya So.” Cheerful melodies and soft balms of reeds dominate on “Club 702” and mellow fellow moods are in abundance on “The Hills.” Kenny G’s lost cousin?
