Guitarist Samo Salamon teams up with pianist Stefano Battaglia during an October 2015 concert in Slovenia. The five songs hare free flowing and sound spontaneous in idea and delivery. The two opening songs last over 14 minutes, with “Rain Forest” slowly undulating with percussive strings from both guitar and piano, creating an ambient atmosphere, while “Hammer” features more interpretive guitar musings. There is lots of communication between the two artists, playing over under sideways and around each other on the dark “Girl With A Nicotine Kiss” and the pensive and prismatic “ Betty O.” Abstract with some logic.
