You’ve got some rapid fire bopping with Schneider’s tenor on “Dropped Third Strike” and Forman’s guitar on “Monk’s Hayride,” while the Hammond cozies up to Forman’s strings on a sleek read of “Girl Talk.” Forman is his usual dashing and debonair self as he teams with Schneider’s alto on a playful “Huffininpuffin” and blends in with the B3 on a delicate “Tenderley.” But, Hammonds wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the blues, and Kocour delivers a cooker on a boogying “Da Good Stuff.” This will cure whatever ails ya.
