Here’s a unique and clever presentation by Mem Nahadr. Subtitled “An Opera Of Reflection,” this 11 piece album is a collection of “arias” that mixes elements of Pink Floyd with Monteverdi. Floating woodwinds and ethereal voices are found in “Forge of Dreams” while spacey keyboard concepts pop up on “Grey Aria” and the synthesized “M Theory.” Synthed soul and rich vocals are deliverd on “Underground” and other times you get a bit of gospel choir on “Black Whole” and “Crystal Trail.” You never lose your interest here, and Nahadr’s voice is a plus in every environ.
