Washington DC-based reggae band See-I gets you into a party mood here with optimistic grooves. Upbeat tunes such as “Never Give Up” are a joy to hear, while other pieces such as “The Chase” infuses some Afro pop guitars to the groove. Even some sitars get into the scene to keep things fresh, as on “Musical Murder” while some peculiar lyric twisting occurs on “The Boogieman” with Mr. Lif and P-Funk delivering some street messages. Hip hop gets into the mix on “Rudeboy Razor,” rounding out the nightclub mood.
