You might ask what does Little Tokyo in LA have to do with this album by Jozef Dumoulin, which consists of sixteen songs interpreted by a Fender Rhodes piano. Well, the answer is simple: it’s filled with noodles! Ranging from 52 seconds to a bit over 7 minutes, Dumoulin dillies, dallies, hems and haws, sounding like he’s just turning on the recorder and hitting on the keys whatever pops into his mind. Keith Jarrett, nor even Keith Emerson, is this background music for Eno wannabes.
