Grammy winning pianist and composer Pablo Ziegler brings his works for his working trio and arranges them with rich percussion and orchestration with the Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley. Recorde in concert, these nine tunes meld the sensuality of old school Argentine melodies with the “new tango” which includes angular rhythms and sophisticated harmonies. Exciting percussive pieces like “Murga del Amancecer” have assertive and rigorous moments, while “Pajaro Angel” and “Places” capture the romance of this South American country.
