Romantic, sleek, sensuous, Cuesta’s voice caresses tunes like “Triste” “Chega De Saudade” and “Meditacao” with soft and delicate hands. Her treatment of “O Barquinho” glides like a gentle wave, while her own “Jobim” is a tasty tribute to her inspiration. If you like the sounds of Getz/Gilberto, this should be on your shelf.
