One of today’s masters of the nylon strings, Lawson Rollins delivers twelve originals with a gypsy flavored team of Dave Bryant/dr-perc, Mads Tolling/vi, Dan Feiszli/b and guest Stephen Duros. Rollins mixes it up with acoustic and electric, teaming with Tolling for a caravan flavored “Yearning to Know” and giving a Middle East flavor with Feisli’s electric bass leading the way on “Full Sail.” Rollins gives spacious skies to “Bluewave Bossanova” and gives some Iberian folk tones to the clean sounding title track.
