Gobs and globs of electronic musings are created by J. Peter Shwalm, as he plays (deep breath) guitars, pianos, electronic devices, acoustic and digital sound modules, mix in with Elvind Aarset/g and Tim Harries/b on 9 Jackson Pollock musical creations.
Robotic sounds and electronic whirls abound on pieces such as “Strofort” as well as heavy metal thunder with trudging stomps through the forbidden planet on “Ibra.” Senses of Brian mx ambiance with wires and tapes during space pieces “Auua” and “Singlis” with sustained synth sounds whirring around on “Gangesthal” and the percussively thud of “Clingon.” A soundtrack to the next Star Trek movie?
