Brazilian pianist and composer David Feldman produces a rich and sensuous album with Andre Vasconcellos/b, Marcio Bahia/dr and guests Toninho Horta/g-voc and raul de Souza/tb. In a trio setting, Feldman and company flow with deftness on “Chora Tua Tristeza” and the soft “ Melancolia” as Bahia’s brushes sashay across the dance floor. The team gets into a post bop groove on “Esqueceram de Mim no Aeroporto” and is rich and rhapsodic on “Ceu e Mr.” Horta brings his gracious strings and voice for a sparkling “Tete” and with de Souza’s trombone form a wondrous samba on “Soccer Ball.” Gentle pleasures and breezes are captured well here.
