Hailing from Peru, the band Bareto mixes Modern Indie sounds with electronics, ska, reggae and pop.The members, Joaquín Mariátegui, Rolo Gallardo, Jorge Giraldo, Sergio Sarria, Jorge Olazo, Mauricio Mesones and Miguel Ginocchio create exciting and electric sounds as they roll the “r” with abandon on “La Voz del Sinchi” and snap to “El Impredecible.” The songs are all around 2-4 minutes, so the focus is on ear friendly environments. Catchy melodies and polished grooves abound. Don’t expect pan flutes here!
