Vocalist De”anza Paaredes hails from LA, and by her vocals and musical environs here, sounds more like she’s more from the East LA side of things. She teams up with an electric/synth band of Andre de Santanna/b, Danilo Arroyo/dr, Santiago Granados/g, and various guests on this six song ep. You get hints of mariachio on”De Aqui, De Alla’” as well as semi folk material such as “Si Senor.” Elements of hip hop, cumbia and traditional Latin pop sounds look for a center of gravity here, all with catchy and short tunes.
