There’s some honey’d soprano and dainty piano on”Sweet Eternity” while “Solstice” shows a bit more growling on the alto sax and rumbling piano. Romantic classical piano teams with a warm and foggy tenor on “Leipzig” while the two artists do some arm wrestling on the feisty. ”Entre Deux Ages.” Imbert’s sax cries over the piano’s melody on “Tears” and then plays a double reeded sax on the exotically sounding “Le Tout du Monde.” A mix of modern jazz, folk and classical serve up an impressive plate here.
