Playing in Dublin Ireland for the first time in this 2014 gig, Daryl Hall & John Oates sound in good voice with their band as they mix tunes from the 70s and 80s that made them dance club favorites. Major blockbusters such as “Maneater,” “She’s Gone,”“Out Of Touch” and “ Sara Smile” stand up pretty well over time and Hall’s voice is remarkably strong after all these years. The gig feels a bit nostalgic, but that’s ok, as the band seems to be encouraging the feel good atmosphere. Even if you don’t remember these tunes, you’ll be impressed by the mix of groove and melody provided by this venerable duo.
