Vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi gives a tribute to vintage Brazilian on this album with Paul Ricci/ ,Roberto Menescal/voc-g, Kassin-Jorge Helder/b, Joao Cortez/dr, Jaques Morelenbaum/cel, Rafael Rocha/tb, Jesse Sadoc/tp-fh and Marcelo Martins/sax-fl. The album has a breezy Claus Oberman feel to it, as Minnozzi is relaxed and clear as she skates on ”So Danco Samba” and cozy for “Rio”. She brings in some newer material as her own impressionistic “Postcard From Rio” and Menescal’s sashaying “O Barquinhio” while the smooth “Agua De Beber” glides down like a cool summer drink and “The Gentle Rain” shimmer like a soft rainbow.
