Jenny Hill serves as a triple threat on tenor and soprano sax as well as flute on this album teamed with Allison Phillips/tp-fh, Mann Koch/p, Eduardo Belo/b and Todd Isier/dr on this collection of rich originals. Her soprano is clean and sweet with Phillips on the graceful “Floating” and bopping over the ivories for “Above Treeline”. . The sensuous “Leaving” features her hip flute, while her vibrant tenor is jivey around the keys on a soulful “Deluxe Secret Sauce” and pretty around Belo on “Pisces Vibe” . Fresh sounds!
