Marc Jordan: Waiting For The Sun To Rise

Singer/songwriter Marc Jordan sounds and feels like an early Tom Waits with insightful originals and street level interpretations on this folksy/rock album. He’s mixed and matched with Lou Pomanti/p, Scott Alexander, Mark Kelso/dr and various other guests along with a tasteful Prague  Orchestra that supplies moody strings through most of the tunes. He has a hip vibe like a corner watch salesman on “Coltrane Plays The Blues” while rural on “Bad Time To Say Goodbye”. There’s an Eagles feel to some of the tunes like “Rio Grande” with a voice reminiscent of Steve Tyrell on “Best Day Of My Life”. His passions are personal on “Cradle to the Grave” and is luminescent on “The Moon’s A Harsh Mistress”.  A troubadour in the best sense.
