Greg Schatz plays piano and sings with a rich poppish voice on tunes that sound like early Randy Newman on this collection of quirky pop originals. The tunes range from a salsa’d “Not Even Close” to kinda Kinks material on the snappy “I’m Building Robot” and peppy “I’m An Animal.” Lots of quirky moments as on “Machines Are Making Machines” or “The Amoeba” which includes some nice saw work for extra excitement. What sticks to the wall?
