Dave Torn’s electric guitar and live loopings mx with the tritone guitars of Stephan Thelon and Bernhard Wagner and Christian Kuntner’s tritone bass with Manuel Pasquinelli’s drums and percussion for four thick sounding mixes of metal and murkiness. Fuzzy feedback, heavy rock beats and Speed Metal thrash on during the 14 minute “Labyrinth” with throbbing bass and head banging strings for the 7 minute “Tunnel Drive.” A deep groove pulsation of “Red Sky” displays some impressive picking and a hovering blue mood, with some wild licks and shrieking feedback rocking in the free world on “Partitions.” Deeper and darker than Deep Purple.
