Randy McAllister and the Scrappiest Band in the Motherland: Spitball, Shatter and Patch

Singer Randy McAllister plays a nasty harp and even a bit of drums as he leads a team of Brandon Hudspeth/g, Cliff Moore/b and Adam Hagerman/dr through some rowdy blues rockers. The acoustic pieces have some earthy folk guitar along with harp on “Laid Back Jack” and the red clay of “Relax Watch the Crash.” When the team  plugs in the team boogies on “The Loudest Chicken” and shuffle through “Rolling Up My Sleeves” with the team giving a Foghat treatment to “The Girl’s In Love” (With Herself)”. As American as baby back ribs.
