Bassist Quinn Sternberg teams with Sam Taylor/ts, Chris Alford/g and Brad Webb/dr through a collection of atmospheric originals. Alford’s echoes create a rich ist for Taylor’s tenor on “Homesick” and his effects glide forth on the nimble “Mind Beach.” Sternberg does some nice work on the folksy take of “Scarborough Hair’ and is upbeat on the cheeful “Remnants” while the team gets angular on the relaxed “Snooze.” Easy paces with a jogger’s pulse.
