Flamenco flavored guitarist Lawson Rollins brings together an album of his biggest “hits” on this album custom made for those unfortunate souls not in-the-know of this wondrous artist. His upbeat Mediterranean sounds are in full force on “Infinita” while sensuous Brazilia is palpable on “Café Jobim,” “Return to Rio” and “Berlin Bossa.” His picking is clean, pulsating, exciting and always accessible. A couple of bonus tracks have him with guest violinist Mads Tolling on the pulsating “Prado” and with electric guitarist Stephen Duros on the Andalusian “World of Wonder.” A mint julep of strings.
