The modern reggae team New Kingston consists of Courney M Panton/dr, Courney “Fadah P” Panton/b-perc, Tahir Panton/key, Stephen Suckarie/g and Kristoff Harmon/perc, while they all sing and allow various guests throughout the ten originals. Pressure Busspiep adds rich vocals on “Starlight” and Tamara Thomas’ violin gives a warm feel to “Agape.” For the most part, the feel is traditional, but “Meditation” is a major production which includes poetry by Lauren Ashley Williams” and a bongo solo by Victor Lewis.” The messages of hope, peace and reconciliation are always welcome, especially as the world continues to confirm that man without God cannot solve today’s problems.
