Steve Krase: Should’ve Seen It Coming

Steve Krase delivers rich and fervent vocals along with wailing harmonica blowing on this boogie-ing album with Rock Romano/g, David Carter/g, Richard Cholakian/dr, Randy Wall/key Alisha Pattillo/ts, James Gilmer/perc and Trudy Lynn/voc. Mark May adds a lead guitar to the driving “Brand New Thang,” and Bob Lanza does the same with the hard rock and harper “Shot of Rhythm and Blues.” Krase’s harp is a wheezing delight on the New Orleans styled “Travelin’ Mood” and swampy “Make You Love Me Baby.” Some nice tenor sax helps the on the moody bluesy title track and the fun and funky “Repo Man.” This is a party album, with a two drink minimum.
