Michaela Steinhauer, or “Misha” as she likes to be called, teams up with dreamy team of Hendrik Meurkiens/vib-harp, Glauco Lima/p, Michael Jaros/b and Samuel Martinelle/dr. Her voice can range from wispy as Martinelle’s brushes team up on a bopping “Here Comes Autumn Again” or can reach laconic with Meurkiens’ harp on “Where Do I Belong.” She’s able to tell a story, as she takes you on a journey with Lima on “The House Is Quiet” and is gentle and supple with Jaros as her nasal tone creates a sepia tone on “No Cure.” Colors are painted with her voice.
