Lots of hip hop beats and synthetic percussion fills this cd/dvd. The urban vocals by Melissa Olivera are supported by the visuals/electronics/turntables of Jam, and a team of Tuur Moens/dr, Jose Carlos Barbosa/b, Virxilio Da Silva/g, Miguel Amaral/pg and Joris Roelofs/bcl. You get covers of Radiohead with “Optimistic” and Bill Withers in “Use Me” but even these are filled with rustling electronics, speaking tones, samples and thick bass lines. Lots of vocal chants and “doo dah” vocal patters as on “Fairytale” and chiming guitar riffs had percussion on “Pensamentos.” Music for light shows in dance clubs.
