Guitarist Jakob Bro leads a gentle trio with Thomas Morgan/b and Jon Christensen/dr through a thoughtful collection of originals. Except for the 10+ minute title track, the material is kept in short and succinct segments. No matter the length of the music, the sounds emitted by this team are almost imperceptible; so quiet that at times the music is more felt than heard, with Christensen’s cymbal sounding like the pulse on your wrist on the meditative “Copenhagen” and the reflective “They All Came Marching Out Of The Woods.” Morgan has a mobile bass one on “Lykaster” while the team sounds l ike fragrant drapes wisping in the breeze, and there is an ethereal interchange between Bro and him on “Ending” while Bro delivers some plucky musings on “Airport Poem.” Sonic wallpaper for a starry night.
