The team consists of Dean Forrest-Darren Kendall/voc, Zac Harkavy/dr, Jon Symons/b, Sam Parsons/g, Elf Forrest/key and a snappy horn section of Lawrence Willoughby/tp and Tom Neale/sax. Upbeat and optimistic material such as “Fighting Bull” will get your neck nice and supple, while the more funkier material such as “Hey Girl” will get you boogying. Some great harmonies are delivered on “Burnin’ Up” and the horns sound sweaty during the incessant beat of “Against It All.” Social activist messages pop up here and there between the beats as well, but the main message is the groove, and it is a message well delivered here.
