Sideman to artists ranging from Buble’ to Mendez to Bebel Gilberto, guitarist Marcel Camargo puts together a short but sweet collection of material associated with Tom Jobim in a variety of moods and settings. Speaking of short but sweet, vocalist Gretchen Parlato joins in on three of the tunes. Her duet with Camargo on “I Fall In Love Too Easily” is gorgeously vulnerable in its Spartan atmosphere, while a string quartet creates a romantic atmosphere, mixing Chopin’s “Prelude #4” with “Insensatez” for ten luscious minutes. Some velvety woodwinds team together for a delicious sauce of a “Lamentos do Morro”, all your left after the five song is a feeling of “MORE.”
